I actually might head out there. I’m putting new wheels on my 335i, tires are supposed to arrive thursday. If I can have everything done I’m hoping to head out. I’m in centreville, are you local?

You’ll love the one in Great Falls. Huge variety of cars, people are constantly coming and going, and no problematic people (for the most part).

Not this weekend-- heading out to go camping and do a Skyline drive cruise Saturday morning for a buddy’s birthday, but we make it out there most weekends! Weather should be great-- look me up if you make it out to future ones; I’ll either have the S2K or Fiat Spider out there whenever I go.

Ah I see. Great falls has lots of nice driving roads, and if you like hiking stop by great falls park. It’ll definitely be worth the trip for C&C, I have a great time every time I manage to make it out.

I’ll need a guide for the driving roads. Been hiking there a few times. Been a while. The Billy Goat trail is awesome

Cool. I live in Laurel and take 295 to DC for work everyday.
There’s a Bethesda C&C every Sat in the Spring/Summer/Fall that’s pretty good. More intimate, but great people.
Then there’s the Burtonsville C&C on Sundays. Always a big show and a great mix of stuff.
Both start at 8 and go till 10 or 11

If you really wanted to make a day out of it, head over to Clifton after C&C. Plenty of fantastic driving roads around old town Clifton. Nice restaurants and a winery down that way as well.
I agree, billy goat trail is one of my favorites!

That’s sounds awesome. Was considering a roadster before the Gti but knowing my lifestyle and always helping my family with things it wouldn’t work.

Heh, I made those sacrifices in my younger days :) My first 4 vehicles included a truck and two wagons. Nowadays if I really need to move something I’ll rent a truck, if I need to move people I’ll use their car or my wife’s. Hasn’t been an issue so far, but then a 2-seater is a great deterrent for people asking you to help with either ;)
