... and there is meat left on the brake pads, I’ll be taking this to the track on Saturday. (Already have the track day paid for, so...)

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I’m going to go look at it in a couple hours. Sure it’ll never be all that fast but I’m pretty sure I can get those kidney grills into the rear view of some of the Miata and GTI drivers.

Any oppopinions on this venture?

UPDATE: Leaking oil. I have a 328i with a sport package to look at on Thursday.

I’d buy it even if it is leaking. I haven’t driven one with the M20B27 but the M20B25 is a lot of fun. B27 has like 20 or 30lb ft of torque on the B25.

sigh. I am always worried when someone else (not owner) is selling car. Seems like it might be a scam of some sort.

Owner shows up from around the corner - the hell you doing selling my car, you someofbitch??? Before you know it, your face is walking into fists for no good reason at all. Your money walks out of there in someone else’s pocket

I see your logic. However I get people asking me all the time to help sell their car as I know something about cars and they do not so it makes some sense. It seems like this guy was the one doing all the wrenching on it so really I think they might be more helpful in a lot of ways than the owner. I’ll know in about two hours anyway!

It’s one thing to stand next to someone selling a car and answer some question non-wrenchers might not know answer to. It’s a totally different ball game to deal with someone who doesn’t own the vehicle in question or has any authority to sign anything. This of course excludes estate managers or people with power of attorney or something to that affect. I am just talking about joe shmoe that once helped you change a tire has no legal powers to sell your car unless you’re standing next to him
