After multiple attempts at aligning the car myself at work, my MR2 still pulled hard to the left. I finally said screw it and had a local race shop dial it in properly. It still pulled. I figured it MUST be something in the tires.

So yesterday I took the wheels to work to flip the tires (can’t just rotate, directional and staggered) and noticed one of the front seems to have a broken belt or something inside. It’s out of round in one spot. Two new Dunlop DZ102's for the front are on their way. Hopefully that will fix my pulling issues!

I need to get my Benz realigned, but only after I do a holistic tire purge. I’ve got three different brands on - similar wear and identical alleged size, but makes for some unevenness. Derp. Replacing my dead front LCA bushings and rear links only went so far.

How dope is it riding with the T tops off. I want a T top flip lights car..

It’s pretty great, but honestly I’d prefer a hardtop car for the lighter weight, extra rigidity, and dry seats when it rains.

Don’t listen to that guy, t-tops off is the greatest. I haven’t had a car without t-tops for years.

Lol Those seals are a common problem, so I dont really hold it against T tops, nature of the Beast.

Id do a turbo regal in a T top too.

Exactly! Covered parking at home gets you most of the way there ;) Other than that it’s just the occasional wetness when it rains bad. TBH since my first 300ZX in 2010 I’ve had the same old white towel in the car just in case, but I haven’t put it on the seat in the rain for years.

(:

Regal, why not.

I was honestly pretty surprised at how much of a difference I felt the first time I drove a sunroof one having only driven t-tops before. I noticed it without even loading the car up much.

It’s definitely a difference, but honestly the AW11 chassis is pretty rigid as-is, and t-top AW11's are still a billion times more rigid than most t-top cars (Z, Camaro, TransAm, Foxbody, etc)

Yep. Gotta love having all those firewalls. I was just surprised that I was able to feel it off the bat on snow tires.
