I was driving in heavy traffic when some idiot decided to cut over at the last second to make a turn, causing the four or so cars in front of me to slam their brakes. I did the same aaaaannnd I think I sprained my ankle.
In all fairness, I’ve fractured both of my ankles before and didn’t go to the hospital, so they’re kind of wonky anyway.
On the plus side, I replaced the brake pads and discs just last week, so they’ve already paid for themselves.

I’m generally pretty fit and healthy, but I still have my share of mid-30s “old man” experiences just to keep me in check:
I got bursitis in my elbow from leaning on my desk at work. It was like a fluid-filled golf ball under the skin and took a month to go away. If you just say “bursitis” to people, it’s like you’re 80 years old.
I fell off a log in the woods a couple months ago and landed with my full weight on my shoulder and hip. Hip was fine. Shoulder is still semi-borked.
Don’t even get me started on pooping. I remember taking it for granted, now it’s like a strategic plan with my diet.

My joints are all clicky and janky from the combination of all the lifting I do and living in Wisconsin where it’s cold and the air is dry for a good several months out of the year. All the jankiness quickly went away on my recent tropical vacation and came right back within a day of being home. Which means at the ripe old age of 34 I’m seriously considering taking this stuff:
