Yaris
, or Golf/GTI. The Scion tC is recently deceased as well. It seems like just yesterday you could buy a new Volvo C30. But the 3-door hatchback, outside of 2-seat sports cars, appears to be endangered in the USA. Edit - Yaris is still available in a 3-door for 2017, and the i8 has both a hatch and rear seats

The Viper, like the Corvette, doesn’t qualify as they aren’t counting 2-seaters. The TT is similar, but does actually have some rear seats for people with no legs or heads.

I’m stretching to include anything because there are so few. Interestingly enough, I think the Evoque fits the theme here, because there used to be a lot of 3-door CUV’s/SUV’s here, but they’re all gone too: RAV4, CR-V, Ford Explorer, Chevy Blazer and more.

Isn’t the roadster just a 2-seater? Anyway, I wonder if it is for insurance reasons. Not sure if it’s true, but used to hear 2-seaters cost more to insure. Maybe Audi wanted to avoid that or maybe there are tax implications in some markets and the rear seats let them classify it as a family car something.

A few of these are 3-door only, which is something that we don’t have in the US anymore outside of the Fiat 500 (now that Mini has grown enough to stuff 4 doors onto the hardtop platform). What’s sad is that we get the Golf and Fiesta, just not in 3-door form. The worst is that we are stuck with the A3 as sedan with an awkward stubby trunk or hybrid only 5-door.

I’ve got a 3 door hatchback but you guys don’t get it in the States, Seat Leon SC. The newly announced Seat Ibiza is 5 door only so I suspect the SC will also be dropped for the next Leon. Sad!

Yeah. They sell the Leon/SC just south of the border in Mexico. I occasionally see a Seat on the road here in Texas, but it’s typically an older model. For whatever reason they just don’t seem to make it up here. I do see a lot of newer Renaults that pop across the border though.

We don’t get those with 3 doors in my market, not new. I did forget the crossovers and offroaders though; Land Rover Evoque, Suzuki Jimny, Mitsubishi Pajero SWB and Toyota Land Cruiser.

Yep - the pretty much turned the seats (right) into non-seats (left). Pretty much all similar rear seats have no headroom.
Also, regarding the TT Roadster, it’s a 2-seater - the top goes where the rear seats would’ve been.
