I have no issue grabbing raw beef like that. That being said, I’d just dump it in the pan. I think it is to make you feel anxious for the singer.

There was a lot of cringe-inducing stuff in this video. But I think it was done purposefully to up the ante on the awkwardness, which totally worked IMO.
Like when people get grossed out when they hear the word “moist.” That word doesn’t gross me out, but seeing a string of saliva during a kiss? That has the same effect on me as “moist” does for other people. Dunno why since I don’t think saliva or kissing are particularly gross things at all.

Because... you’re right... I have absolutely no compunction about touching raw ground beef while making meatballs, but somehow, that bit in the video above made me gag. Maybe it’s because you never see her wash her hands between touching the raw meat and the kitchen utensils/raw vegetables. Cross contamination, yo!

Quick tip : Ground beef can clean ANYTHING off your hands. Which also means you need to have really clean hands when handling ground beef.
