I learnt to drive in the australian “Ford Laser” non-GT version of this. Was quite fun and super reliable, definitely fit the adage of slow car fast. It looked pretty sad from the outside as you can see though

It’s an Escort. they were throwaway cars when they were new, and even now that most of them have indeed been thrown away they’re not desirable enough to command much over blue book. KBB puts a car like that at about $900 in “good” condition.

Ignore the blue book claims, meaningless on a car like this. If it runs, drives, stops, it is worth it. Only glaring issue I see could be clearcoat fail, but might also just be water on the paint.
