She asked (slightly angrily) why do you keep speeding up between corners only to slow down again? I was on a twisty country road at the time.
I was a bit dumbfounded by this question. I mean I was doing it so I could get home in decent time and not hold up traffic. But lets take this further. From her point of view, why bother getting up to the speed limit ever? You’ll only have to slow back down at some point. Why bother driving anywhere, youll only end up back home where you started. Either shes a nihilist or just hates twisty roads. Probably both.
