Just got a new helmet....and its the same as my old helmet.

Kinja'd!!!

This is my third Kaos Carbon fiber helmet. First one i got 5 years ago, in a large. replaced it with a med 2 years later after I got rid of my glass. Now, 3 years after that, The padding smells, the liner is coming out, and the visors are all scratched to hell. None of it the helmets fault though, as I wear my helmet pretty much every single day. (as compared to some ppl that wear their helmet once a month)

light (lightest full face helmet you can get), ECE certified, and it comes with 2 visors.

best part, this is usually a 350-400 helmet at most stores. i got a KILLER deal at a flash sale from a local racing shop and got it for $180.

Only con I have will it is that its LOUD. most CF helmets are pretty loud, but this one seems even more so. Oh well.

Kinja'd!!!

cant wait for the new season

Are the liners not removable for washing? That’s a lotta dough to spend every few years just for a smelly helmet. I remove my liners and ear pads every few months and give them a good scrub. We just had a full week of 35C temps so it’s already sweating time. That is a killer deal on that helmet though.

Nothing can really wash the smell of Axe and Timbits out of Pete’s helmet.

I was trying to place the cologne last time I saw him! Now I get it. Timbit.

I do the same thing. I got a different version this time without the built in visor though. Once I found one that fits my giant head, I have to go with it forever now.

they are and I do wash them, but helmets have a shelf life of 5 years under the best of conditions, and wearing it day in, day out isnt doing it any favors.

plus, its a suede lining, so smells stick to it a little too well.

My biggest problem is the shape. I have a square head. None of the cool ones fit my Mellon.
