Black suede for class, red stitching for HP, pipe insulator for coolness (literally), and confusion on how to end this title.

With write up. It’s on my personal page since it’s pic heavy. Here’s the link .

It’s a gearshift cover to keep my knob from getting as hot as an oven in the Texas heat. It doesn’t have a top at the moment. Not sure what I’m going to do about that yet, but I can say it definitely helps keep my knob cool as is.

Why not just use a sock?

It doesn’t work very well, hardly at all, since it’s metal. On a vinyl, or whatever, stock one it would probably work fine.

Never tried a sock exactly, but I tried a cloth prototype and it did nothing.

They make shift knobs in materials that won’t go all raiders of the lost ark on you.

I had a fancy aluminum knob on my mini, and it lasted through the winter and into the spring until the first hot day. I got a leather Momo knob shortly thereafter.

But I got this from Secret Senna and I really like it. Plus this only cost $10.

The stock one wasn’t as bad, but it’s very light and it’s shaped like a banana.
