Very nice, I can’t remember the last time I saw a 5-series Touring of any generation.
By any chance is this an M5 Touring?

Good week for Oppos to be buying M-Sport BMWs. Congrats!

Yep, exactly. Only diffference is that you have yours already. It gets a new TÜV inspection next week, and I could theoretically pick it up next weekend, but that’s Eurooppomeet weekend, so a full fortnight it is. And to make matters worse, the power steering pump on my Honda is dying. (Thankfully they didn’t really look at it before offering me a fair trade in value.)

Noooooope. It’s a pedestrian 25i (218 hp from a 3.0 inline six) with the full M-kit.

It’s a Honda, so it’ll run like that for a while. Since there is no inspection here where I live, you should see some of the truly terrible cars people drive. Like much worse than that, engines that sound like they’re washing machines filling with bolts.

very nice - beautiful car. My current boss has had a silver 525 sedan of that body style for a number of years and she loves it. It seems to eat brakes but otherwise it’s been bulletproof.

Yes, I’m a little concerned about that brake thing. They don’t seem to like my driving style on the autobahn. Full throttle, brake hard for senior citizen in Nissan or Toyota overtaking a caravan at 1 kph more, full throttle....
Let’s see how this plays out. If I get bored of it, I can always trade it in. It’s at the lower end of the depreciation curve.

Come to Europe. If I’m not mistaken the 5 Tourings outnumber the 5 sedans and X5.

Maybe I will. I haven’t been to Europe since 2012 when I was in Spain. Hatchbacks in general and small cars are a lot more prevalent there; around here you see a lot more large crossovers and pickup trucks.
Last cool German wagon I remember seeing was a black E63 AMG. I love it so much and I want it in my life.
