Going skiing today in Vermont and have a 6 hour drive to get there. Due to my friend’s work schedule, and our insistence on hitting first chair, we have decided to get on the road at 2am. I managed to fall asleep around 7pm so that’s actually not a terrible amount of sleep! But it is funny to say “good morning” when the majority of the west coast is probably not even thinking about sleep yet.

But I’ve got some major snow to look forward to though!!! Nearly 4 feet at the mountain so I’m amped about that.

Oh yeah I’ll survive. Normally I’ve done 3-4 day trips so just going hard for 2 days I should have plenty of energy to drive home tomorrow. Plus splitting up the driving should help. Wish I could stay much longer though since there is bound to be a bunch of really good powder stashes in the woods for a while!
