!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

If my goddamn property taxes weren’t so high....

Thinking of going passive aggressive with a white rattle can, leaving them messages of “sweet nothings” on the street. Or going a step further and drawing a scale model of the pot holes in question 40 feet before it, so drivers have a chance to to avoid it, instead of darting at the last second.

Bet my LCA wouldn’t have shit the bed the way it did if the roads were better..

I recall reading about some vigilante-type group installing a little PCB in a pothole so that it would tweet every time a car hit the hole. Seems kind of obnoxious and arguably as much work as putting in a bag of asphalt patch.

Edit: But what’s the local government’s motivation to eat into their budget and fix potholes if it’s already being funded out of pocket by citizens anyway?

Some one in England was drawing dicks around them, so they came and fixed the graffiti and the pothole because of it

As a local professional, I couldnt risk the bad press, but I would do something like #yourtaxdollarsatwork?

I would also use a stencil, to show resolve.

Something I would get behind if I didn’t live in Detroit with streets that are mostly potholes.

Lol, and some how people still rock low profile tires out there.. I was there back in October, so many nice pre-WWI brick houses going to shit.

Some, in select neighborhoods are getting rebuilt.

Also I have a friend who has a stanced E36 M3 who lives in the same complex as me. I don’t know how he does it. Its his summer car, but I don’t how it would ever work here.

I could swing by with a banksy style dick stencil. Im not local, people think im official, and I have a safety jacket.

Best idea ever?

Also looking to go back to Roy Thai with the lady. You should come visit the new place soon. I just need to put my million piece bed together...

Maybe they should mark all the repaired potholes with smiley faces or something so that drivers can see just how much work they’re getting done. Otherwise, the city could deny how much of an effect the anarchists are having. “Oh no, they didn’t patch that road; we did that.”

Yes! That was what was really crushing to me. I really love houses from that era, tall ceilings, exaggerated moldings, the works!

The house I’m trying to buy currently was built in 1891, its not huge ( 1700sq/ft w/ 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms), but it has all the styling cues I love of that time.

I’m more of a fan of Mies, mid century style. But can certainly appreciate the work and the insane details in those homes.
