1st one, salvage title, not actual mileage.
Second one I can’t get...apparently I’ve used my monthly allowance. I get mine through Allstate Motor Club. Don’t feel bad, I do work for dealers and have unlimited access. Might as well use the Allstate for something.

Also, I noticed the Carfax for the other vehicle showed something different than the Autocheck. Never hurts to get an opinion from somebody who can pull one since all I can do is Autocheck.

I didn’t look at the details and now wish I did. But I can’t look again until next month, nor will I be working until Tuesday so maybe someone else will have one.
On one hand, if it checked out by a mechanic and whatever issues were addressed properly, maybe it’d be worth consideration. On the other hand the guy is dishonest, so that’s what I couldn’t look past. Because at the right price and depending on circumstance I would consider a salvage title. I’ve owned a few, but I was the one that did the repairs back when I worked in a body shop. In these times of CarFax, why try to hide something like that...plus you’d see it on the title if it got to that point anyway.

Completely agree with you. Buying a Z06 is interesting because you literally deal with every generation of car enthusiasts. I would consider a salvaged title car as well but the price would have to take the title into consideration at least. Looking at the second one on Saturday, hopefully all checks out! Thanks again for your help.

np, and good luck. Where are you located? If close enough to the mid atlantic region I have a dealer that frequently has Corvettes. I think they have an 06 on the lot now, but it’s just a standard car. I guy I know who does paint touch ups for dealers finds good stuff all the time as well.

I’m right outside Philadelphia in NJ. I’m specifically looking for 02-04 Z06s that aren’t yellow, are close to stock, and have black interior. Luckily that second car just showed up and is very close to me.

I’m in northern Delaware, Wilmington/Newark. If you ever find anything close I’m happy to peep it. I do work for Nucar Chevy which often has Corvettes. I don’t service Porter but know some people who do and know people at Diver and Willis Chevrolet. Plus I service a few other dealers...usually I know someone or someone who does at most of the local places as that’s the car business. But I can also peep private owner stuff too. I’m no mechanic, but have body shop experience and enough experience in cars I can pick up on if a car is worth considering almost immediately. Painter by trade, then got into interior reconditioning in 2000.
