Does it have a helper spring in the pedal assembly? The 86 comes with one and removing it really helps with the feel and weight. Don’t know if Ford did the same on the FiST

That’s a good point, I briefly considered a GTI and while they are arguably better technically and with a nicer interior. I think they are quite dull, like a Toyota Camry
