The kinds that work?

See if you can find a HEPA rated one.

I don’t think any of my cars have ever had cabin air filters, but I understand that some of those filters are HEPA now. That’s what I would look for.

My car has the space, but did not originally did not come with one. I plopped in a Fram with active charcoal. It seems to work great, and I noticed a sense of crisper air when I first threw it in. Also, thanks for this, I should reinspect my filter.

First time changing them actually. I just bought the upper filters that go behind the glovebox and Amazon had a $2.00 coupon for the Fram ‘Fresh Breeze’ baking soda filled ones. They actually came in the mail earlier today. I don’t know when I’ll get to them but hopefully this weekend.

As for the activated charcoal lower cabin air filters which I think are before the uppers in the loop, I have to find a happy medium for them. Pelican Parts has 5 different options from $38 to $72 a pair. I want to get the MANN brand filters because that’s what I use for engine air filters, but those are the $72 option.

I swear that’s what I read too for like a week. They’re actually ‘Fresh Breeze’ and they contain baking soda.

I have one! It’s a Fram one I bought at Walmart for my accord.

Umm... I didn’t really notice any improvement in air quality. Maybe it was a little less mildewy but it may have been the old filter.

I bought it because it was cheaper than any other. And it works. So... I guess if it’s cheaper go for it. Dont spend extra go get one like it

My wife’s CX-5 and my Mazda6 both have EP Auto brand engine air filters and cabin air filters. Like $9.00 a piece on Amazon and good quality. No complaints.
