After yesterday’s craziness of someone sending a parcel but omitting the house number so having to chase it to get it delivered.

It’s here:

Kinja'd!!!

So that’s that sorted, crisis over.

So it’d be rude not to have a glass with lunch.

Kinja'd!!!

It’s fantastic. Very smooth.

probably my favourite (sub £100) whiskey.

I do need to get back over to Holland though some time.

Can’t have St. Patrick’s day without Teeling.

That must have been horrifying.

I had the Jameson on standby (along with the Guinness Draught, Original XX and Golden Ale).

But it arrived early the next morning.

Really stupid thing was, yes the sender forgot to put the house number on the label, but my home and mobile number were clearly displayed on the damned label. Doh.

Anyway, crisis over.

I’ll be enjoying Donegal today http://cigarlounge.kinja.com/the-cask-donegal-irish-whiskey-1724616792

We found out it’s a blend from unknown Irish sources, all I know is it’s delicious and only costs 26 bucks. I also have some Teeling available too. The standard Teeling is what initially inspired me to do The Cask write ups to begin with!

Ye’, it was that review that I found out about Teeling.

So I’ll send my whiskey bill to you. Lol.

The Single Grain is fantastic.

Worth every penny.

Slainte my friend.

Sláinte agad-sa!

...but please don’t send me the bill, I can barely afford mine! I’m going to have to pony up the cash and go for the single grain next time!

Just went and bought the single grain.

They stock all teeling down the street from me hahaha.

Not sure about it yet, huge departure from the normal Teeling.

I’ve never had the blended yet. I tend not to like blended whiskeys.

I greatly prefer the Single Grain over the Single Malt.

Looks appropriate. Typically scotch here, but have found Jameson Caskmates and Black Barrel quite suitable.

I hate blended scotch, my favorite irish whiskeys are all blended.

I’ve been introduced to a nice Scotch, Auchentoshan, which is triple distilled and tastes like a good Irish whiskey.

But Scotch I tend to stay away from.

Even blended Irish whiskeys I tend to avoid.

I’m a big fan of Highlands (specifically Speyside) Scotch’s. I just can’t do the peaty smoke flavor of other Scotch’s and they must be single malt.

I’m open to pretty much anything Irish.
