I hate skulls. On t shirts, on jewelry, on cars, and especially on motorcycles. It’s just screams “I’m unoriginal, insecure, and tacky as hell.”
I once bought a car with a chrome skull shifter knob, it was the worst car I’ve ever owned, and I should have know from that modification alone that it had been abused and never maintained.

Don’t leave out tattoos. My son and I were in line at Disney the other day waiting to go on Splash Mtn. There was a dad in front of us with a whole sleeve made up of skulls. My 6 yr old asked “why does he have so many skulls on his arm daddy”. I paused for a minute trying to decide if I should be honest, or polite. My response “I guess he just really likes skulls”

Every time I see someone putting skulls on display as a fashion statement or accessory, I find myself imagining that person in a situation where mortality (either theirs or someone else’s) is tenuous and not in their hands, whether it’s being in a horrible car accident, being mugged at gunpoint, or whatever. I don’t do this on purpose; it just pops in my head.

IDK, doesn’t look thaaat bad functionality wise, certainly not as good as it could be, but probably not much worse, if any, than stock. Plus, when you only put on 1000 miles a year who cares about pad life? It’s tacky as shit though and you know the only people who will buy it will be those people who bar hop on the occasional weekend and think they’re skulled up chromed up Harley is just the most badassmotherfuckin bike ever.

There’s no gaps between the skulls, otherwise half of them would be floating in the middle of nowhere. The area between the skulls is colored black (curious how that’ll hold up), it just blends in with the wheel really well.
