without telling any of the project team...
neat.
A couple weeks ago he told me he wanted to become an inventor. Also, he’d been complaining about not getting to design things on his own to several coworkers. All of which told him that that was due to the fact that he’s a draftsman with an associates degree from a tech school and not an Architect with a Masters degree.
To top it all off, I wasted spent an hour this morning teaching him how to manipulate pdfs.

One of our VPs came down to my area and was showing his phone to some other VPs kinda laughing saying something about “we gave him 48hrs”.
Fast forward 4 hours: (after a lunch with Jake) I came back to the office to find annoying coworker sitting at his desk, trying to start conversations with coworkers...
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

Wants to build buildings but can’t push a button the make the app function...well, there’s only one place for someone who wants to do work they are woefully unqualified for these days; politics. He should put away that CAD license and find an open state legislator seat somewhere and run for it. It’s his only hope.

I know a couple of retired architects who’ve designed all manner of buildings including skyscrapers, yet couldn’t build a pdf document to save their octogenarian lives, let alone use CAD software.
Give em a slide rule and graphing paper, though, and watch the magic.

I understand the inept coworker thing. I have one of those and he will not quit. I still don’t understand how he even got hired in this position. I’ll give you 2.5 quotes that should make you giggle.
