And yet here we have a cop with no lights. The guy who’s too stupid to turn his headlights on in a storm is the same guy with a gun and the discretion to use it as he deems fit. Wonderful. Way to set an example. Truly what all safe motorists should aspire to, and a service to the force!

Frost did engage his body camera before exiting the vehicle to approach Guilford, so much of the encounter was caught on tape, though not the alleged assault nor the shooting. Guilford also tried to use his cellphone to record the interaction, but Frost eventually stopped that.

I was driving in the Chicago “lower” streets on Sunday, you pass shitloads of signs saying “Turn on your headlights”. Every car had its lights on around me except for the Chicago PD Taurus behind me.

And that’s the problem with automatic lights, quite offer the sensor still gets enough light, on an overcast day, even during a rainstorm.
And sure you have DRLs in the front but nothing is in in the rear.
