canepa is so up there, beyond any old race shop. It’s like a visit with the Falconeer engine shop, or Pratt & Miller.

I’ve been there. Got to see the chassis and engine up close last year when the restoration was just beginning.

Saw this car on display at Rennsport V, it went to Canepa right after that to begin the restoration. The current owner is Rob Kauffman, former part owner of Michael Waltrip Racing and now an investor in Ganassi’s NASCAR team. He also owns the 1966 Le Mans winning GT40 among other things.
