I despise the look of the current 4Runner, so I ’ ll say yes. But it ’ s still no 3rd/4th - gen 4Runner, which are both still among the nicest looking designs in modern cars.

I predict that the general public would confuse the names enough to forget that they’re separate models.

The Forrunner and 4tuner would both sell well because Americans love SUVs.

No. 4Runner has been selling here way too long, and most are repeat buyers.

I think people buy the Lexus for that, and the people who won’t go full Lexus have the Highlander now which is much more developed than it used to be. The 4Runner/Surf crowd seem to want a tough look so I think they are giving those people what they want. I see guys with a 4Runner that wouldn’t want the Fortuner.
