It then proceeded to soft lock less than 10 seconds later. To be fair, I just turned on both forza and my xbox for the first time in 2 months.

I sent 2 XBox360's into RRoD mode while playing Fallout 3 years ago... both times the game hiccuped, froze, and then Red-Ringed out of existence.

Luckily I never had that problem, my 360 was an elite which was supposedly rrod proof, so instead of getting rrod, it just never turned back on. Got a 360 slim, never had a problem, sold it for a one and here I am with my first ever xbone problem, fh3 textures just giving up and then softlocking.

Basically my textures just went “no.” At one point before it soft locked all the shapes were stretching out like the demon baby glitch in sims 3

Sadly, both my RROD’d units were elites. Sorry to hear your newer console’s got issues. My guess is that it’s getting close to giving out on you. Might be worth either pre-emptively looking it up / getting a hold of MS. OR running the hell out of the graphics and burning it out. Could throw some towels on it and just cook it while it runs. Maybe not ethical, but should get you a new one.

First time this had happened and fixed after a restart, but I have been getting frequent error messages recently, if either happen again I’ll see what MS has to say.
