Not bad at all for an iPhone. I’ll be interested to see it on the big screen. I would have liked to have had my big cameras, but I’m also glad I didn’t have to lug them around.

Ever since the iPhone 5S, I have not felt a desire for a DLSR or any dedicated camera. Then again, all my photos are casual. I’m not a photography enthusiast.

Though I’m a photo guy, it’s nice to have a camera in my pocket that is more than respectable. It’s amazing how far they’ve come.

MetroRail would have you know that even though it looks suspiciously like a light rail, it is actually commuter rail. It is true that the Stadler GTW trainsets are sometimes used for street running (mainly in NJ I think), but they are mostly operated on normal heavy rail type lines.
Also, regardless of that, Austin desperately needs to reroute the UP freight line that goes through the center of the city and run some sort of transit through there instead. I have no idea what a freight bypass to the east would cost, but given the massive north-south congestion on 35 and MoPac, it would be well worth it.

The way the city is laid out and the terrain is, rerouting the UP is really one of the only ways to free up that congestion short of mass transit and other ways of just getting cars off of the road. Every time I’m sitting through another construction project here in SA I have to remind myself that it could be worse and be Austin where they really don’t even have a good spot to put more/bigger roads.
