New this year. Even the snow we got last night melted before I could use it. Still has plastic wrap from the factory.

I think I helped keep the snow away, too. A friend of mine bought an old snow plow for his truck, and I rebuilt the hydraulic unit for him. He hasn’t gotten very much use out of it aside from hooking it up to test it out.

Our neighbor was outside shoveling this morning. I told him to stop because it’s so little and it’s going to be 40-50 degrees in a few days anyway. He finished his little area because his wife “was worried about ice forming.”

My wife and daughter are coming your way Wednesday for a Spring Break Chicago trip. Of course the forecast calls for snow. Could you please spend some more money on snow removal equipment so the weather won’t mess up their visit?

Clearly I spoke too soon. Perhaps, as some have suggested, I should buy more gear? Maybe a Polaris with a plow?
