I saw one of these today, and I think I liked it.

It’s official, you are now required to trade in your E92 for one.

I’ve seen a few, in fact it seems I see one almost every day. I’ve seen black, and dark red ones pin the road, but the Honda Dealership also has a green one. I swooned over it when I saw it. The only problem I have with the, is the pseudo bed/cab line. The first gen didn’t have than and I enjoyed that honestly about its unibody nature.
I am completely in support of the Ridgeline. Now if only they could make a Honda Fit pickup...

Sorry, sir. I am a member of Oppositelock E92 M3 Acquisitions. You have to relinquish the keys and the title at this moment.

My parents just recently traded their 2017 RTL-E for a 2017 Silverado.
Regardless, it was a nice vehicle. I went to wisconsin to pick it up for them and drove it back.

I like it too. I think it’s the perfect truck for like 80% of truck stuff/truck owners.

I’ve seen them on the lot when they came out when I was servicing a Honda dealer (I dropped them soon after so haven’t had the access to one as I would have). Today was the first time I saw one on the road and thought “I’d own that”. I driven plenty of the old Ridgeline and find them to be be a good light duty DD...I assume this one excels in the same area. I’m surprised I haven’t seen more of them.

The lack of a bed gap was even weirder on the first-gen because it was actually on a hybrid unibody/ladder-frame chassis. Technically it wasn’t 100% unibody.

Yeah, if I needed to tow over 5,000lbs once every couple/three of years I could hire a tow truck (or rent a F-150 from Uhaul). The rest of the time it would be more than adequate..

Agreed. If my toys that require towing were a bit lighter, I would be seriously interested in one.

I don’t get that either. If they want it to look more “truck” like, they could of just used a different front end styling. Maybe it’s easier/cheaper to replace a quarter panel than it was on a 1st gen.

How come? That’s quite early in ownership to change to a different vehicle.
I would of at least waited to see the expected, significant refresh of the Silverado first.

I feel like the answer to that is a change in design direction part way through. I really hate the front end styling on it.

They decided they wanted a little more room in the towing capacity department. Soon after the trade, they acquired a 22ft travel trailer fer seeing the sights.

Yeah I looked at a black one in the Trader Joes parking lot, it is nice, the cargo storage in the back is cool. For a light truck it looks great.

I know right, just rent a fucking F150, they are easy to get. No need to spend more on gas. I would take one, I have a CRV actually, I don’t tow anything and I haul a bunch of tools and rigging stuff with us sometimes so it’s fine. Gets great MPGs.
