Its a massive download, so keep that in mind. Also you need a pretty beefy system to run it smoothly I find.
But good fun nonetheless!

20GB download, yeah. One thing I really hate (and reported many times to Microsoft) is that the Windows Store sucks up your ENTIRE bandwidth to download, slows everything else to a crawl. As if it doesn’t know what priority and bandwidth management is.
As for beefy machine... I’m fairly sure my R9 290 can handle it, the recommended is just a 970.

You need a pretty beefy system, though I got it running reasonably well on a 4th-gen i5 system with a 750Ti even if stupid “LOW MEMORY!” errors kept popping up all the time.

Can confirm: 290 will run it at 1080p high preset, but doesnt like my crossfired 290s lol.
At least you dont have a 60gb download tanking your network overnight!

Oh I’m sure memory isn’t going to be a problem, I have like 16GB lol. Got it when it was like $80 and laughing all the way when I saw it shoot up to like double. CPU is indeed the bare minimum though, a lightly overclocked i5-3570K.

Let’s see if it might finally tip me over to start saving for a new machine. My machine is indeed 5 years old but it still runs like a charm.
And by bandwidth I don’t mean saturating my internet connection, but rather all the bandwidth on one machine. I can have the download going on my desktop but my other devices still download other stuff fine, just not my desktop.

Same. 8350 is holding on for now, but the AM4 boards I want are a few months out. Hopefully DDR4 prices come down too, not fun paying 30% more because Im in Canada.
