I spent some time in Japan, mostly in Iwaki. I was pretty interested in some of the vehicles I saw. Apparently there is a niche for the Chevy Astro/GMC Safari vans. And a few streets away from the hotel I was staying in (The Creston) was a small shop/dealer who did nothing but sell and service classic Minis.

Yeah they sold minis right til they stopped the classic body. It’s not a bad place to look for Minis and Lotus Europas, they sold lots of them. There is a Dodge van racing thing too, no idea why, best to stop asking why. So many cars hidden in Japan, I’ve looked down small streets and in yards out in the country. Shit rusts there so it if it’s covered it might be saved, I’ve seen so many that are past saving and there was no reason to not cover them!

OMG!!!! A 100M!? I love big Healeys. I wish I had gotten on of those instead of my Sprite sometimes, but oh well. Someday. I really want a 100-6 BN6, but a 100M would be awesome too!
