...to get a 2TB drive they on clearance for $60. They didn’t have any, but they had this. Well, OK. That’ll do fine, thanks...

I think the one you got is upside-down.

An extra terabyte for $10 less? Nice.

Well, my computer is also upside down so this will balance it out...

Just be careful with these ones, I think the interface board is actually rewired to have the USB port on the internal drive itself. So if the port breaks or something, your data is stuck in there forever.

I have the 6tb version of this drive which I store all my games on and do backups to. Works great.

Should be good for storing pictures of and from Australia!

I got one of those at a Staples for $34.50 a couple years back. The cashier was upset because I’d gotten the last one.

While picking a few things at Target this morning I went and got a tumbler glass. My plan was to buy a pair but there was only one on a shelf. While waiting in line I thought, “wow a single glass... this might be one of my saddest purchases ever” I then walked over to the self checkout.

That’s basically the norm for prebuilt USB hard drives in general, though.

Only way to be sure it’s SATA inside is to buy an enclosure and an internal drive.

I have to look for some clearance deals, WD is ok, I only trust maybe three HD brands.
