I’ve been meaning to see that movie at some point....saw the trailer for it somewhere and it looked like a decent Canadian film. Let me know how it turns out (without spoilers, of course :P)! :)

So wait, forgive my ignorance (I’m American). What exactly do Canadian Police do that would be worthy of an action movie? They get in a car chase with the town drunk who refuses to get caught?

Well, my buddy worked with some OPP, RCMP, and Kingston Police officers a few years ago, and one of them was involved in a police chase on a snowmobile trail. Apparently the Crown Vic did pretty well. The snowmobile driver, however, did not, and crashed into a solid wall. Once everything was done, dude arrested and sent to the hospital, the officer stayed back and collected the dude’s teeth from the snow so they could be put back into his face.
He’s got a bunch of ridiculous stories from that job. Canada isn’t as boring as you think it would be.

One of the first (and best) movie from the ‘’French-Canadian’s New Wave of Action Movies’’, which is now surprisingly popular around Montreal right now.
Big budgets, large sets with explosives and car chase (Kinda like American movies in the 90's) mixed with the special blend of humor we are known for... It’s a pretty decent combination, honestly.
Enjoy and tell us how you liked it, I’m curious to see how fun this movie can be if you don’t get some of the very local jokes.
