Yeah I don’t like street parking.

That reminds me that I never learned how to parallel park..... Time to buy some cones, or never visit a city. Yeah I think the latter is easier.

My parents made sure I left for high school early by giving me the ‘81 Caddy. We had to parallel park so if I didn’t want to walk a mile in the morning I had to get there before everyone else.

The only available parking at my house is street parking. Parallel parking every day. God I want a bigger place with a garage, and preferably a driveway. Or a barn or shop or something, that would work too.

Both are true for me.

I used to live where I had to parallel park if I wanted to go anywhere and now I’m living in a town where I have to parallel park maybe once a moth.

Life is weird sometimes.

I once had to work a manual transmission Integra out of a space while facing downhill with maybe 1-2" inches on either end to the next car. Fun times.

When I go downtown I usually try to find a parking lot that isn’t ridiculously overpriced, or just park several blocks away and walk because I’m probably going to be drinking beer anyway.

This is one of the best parts about the Midwest. In many places where it looks like you have to go through that pain you actually don’t. The spaces are built to accommodate brodozers and such it seems. Most cars can pull right in.
