includes ground service vehicles, scenery, AI traffic and airplanes.. makes the game quite.... unstable, if you know what I mean
also, I love it when half the mods don’t work, I.E. no sounds, no textures, half the plane doesn’t show up, the whole ground turns into water, only the engines show up....

Man, I miss Microsoft Flight Simulator. Had many a good time using bootleg mods but alas my disc snapped and I’m too cheap to buy it again. Also coincidentally, I’m literally playing this at the moment:

I really want to get back into FSX, but the lack of easily and quickly installable real world AI, military and civilian, annoys me.
Kinda gets lonely up in that virtual sky.

yeah, it’s a real pain to install mods sometimes, not that it’s hard, but many times mods are not of the highest quality and don’t always work.

I’ve been hesistant to add a bunch of mods to my game so far. It plays so well stock and the amount of searching, installing, fixing, uninstalling, and other messing to find good mods is a big turnoff.
Therefore, my game has totally stock terrain and AI. However, I download planes one at a time to keep myself interested. For the last week I’ve been flying the crap out of a Cessna 414 and it’s been very fun and interesting.

Same. Except when they break or the script doesn’t work they get annoying real fast. But, for the most part, they’re fun and add something different.
