Made this for the Mrs. birthday as Samoas happen to be her favorite Girl Scout cookie.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Verdict:
Holy crap its it a dense desert. I made a few changes to the recipe i used unsweetened coconut flakes and salted caramel topping in an effort to reign in the sweetness. It is also toddler approved and he is not in fact vibrating.
If you are watching at all run away from this desert, I had to structure all my meals today around having a serving of this pie.

This looks awesome I’m going to have to try it. Hopefully it does OK with GF flour. My mrs. let my daughter and son decorate a cake for a friend today. It ended up like this:

The crust just kinda has to be there to make it work so it should work as GF.

Yeah that’s what I was thining reading the recipe. I’m kinda excited. Just gotta wait for my wife to go out of town for a day - she hates coconut. But me and the kids love it!
