Went with a buddy to a C&C event at a Porche dealership.

Funny how only the yellow ones survived.. the 73 here in town is still around.. was still fs last time I checked.

Finding parts would be tough.

Ok well this is random as hell, I was Kinja stalking you to try and figure out what kind of Land Rover you had and happened upon my friend’s truck. Not even kidding, he lives in eastern PA(we went to L ehigh together) and he bought it since when you made this pos and now(so it wouldn’t have been his then) . Even went and looked at his pics, it’s got the same dents and rust flecks so that’s the one!

He’s done a really good job fixing it up  so far, in case you were wondering how it looks now:

LMFAO, that is funny. I took that picture at the cars and coffee hosted by the Porsche dealership on Route 1 in Princeton NJ.

and here you go: 2004 Discovery and 1968 IIa SW 109 (both in various states of rebuilds)

Ooh that’s a cool combo, especially when you have them working! Are either of them close??

I was actually mostly looking for a D1 as a fun trail vehicle(I was just off roading my new Tacoma a little much for comfort) but then I happened upon the Range Rover well in budget. It’s def a bit more beat cosmetically both inside and out  than the Discos I was looking at but pretty solid mechanically and it was just too cool to pass up

I should have the Disco’s engine back together this weekend and then it will go back in, the 109 is a ways off. I have to still strip the body off and clean up the chassis before I start restoring it.
