I feel like driving should be one of the options in psychiatry to relax people. It works for certain animals as well. I do love driving....we don’t really have beautiful, winding canyon roads here in Holland, but we have a couple of quiet, properly paved, back roads.

I just love to unwind and....wind up the engine. Lose focus on everything else but the driving. What’s the car doing? What are the sounds the car is making? What does it need in terms of adaption of the gas pedal, the clutch, the brake? Man, I messed up on that heel-toe moment there, try it again, and again, and again!

Apart from working on the ITR and/or washing it, there’s really nothing else that gets me as relaxed as driving it. Becoming one with the car.....I love it....
