In case you’ve ever wondered how semi truck tires are changed:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I have so much respect... as I can’t imagine how back breaking, exhausting, and terrifying (when working on the side of a highway) this job is.
However, I am left with two unanswered questions:
1. No balancing needed?
2. What’s the product in the red sprayer for? Is it soap? For lubrication?

There are very good reasons not to work on semi tires without a tire cage:

I had to do dump truck tires with manual tools (ie 6 ft tire irons) once. Dump truck tires are like 16 inches wide, and have stiff stiff sidewalls. Was no fun.
He’s lucky the tires came off so easy, they can get rusted. On to the point were it takes an hour of sledgehammering to rock them off. Especially the ones where the tire rides on a cone that the lug nuts force it on and stretch the rim over.
