I don’t think I’ve posted pictures of the waiting room at my parents shop before so here’s a few. Customers love it and we’re pretty proud of it.

Since we compete with Lexus and Toyota we had to up the game and make it a nice place for people to visit. A lot of people care about the experience more then the price.

I like it! It’s nice but also homey. My dealer waiting room is outstanding but I usually feel pretty out of place because it’s almost too nice...like wearing jeans and sneakers to a fancy restaurant when you aren’t famous enough to get away with that.

We try to make women feel more comfortable so I’m glad you feel that way seeing it! 2/3 people that work up front are women(one being my mom) so that’s a huge goal.

Very nice! Good mix of rustic and warm coziness. I like that weathered wood cabinet/shelf thing. It’s probably my favorite piece in the room.
My dealer has a couple of waiting rooms, so you kinda feel like you can pick which different “living room” you want to wait in. And they’ve done them all up in variations of rustic Texan/Western. So, lots of big leather couches, cowhide rugs, and lots of cowboy and Texana scenes in the artwork on the walls. There’s this one big painting of theirs that I would LOVE to have for myself. It’s a giant old-style map of 1836 Texas.
There’s even a little concession stand where you can get coffee, fountain sodas, popcorn, hot dogs, and cookies.
I’d still rather hang out on y’all’s couch. Or browse Oppo on my laptop while sitting on one of those bar stools. :)

The price was made by one of our friends. I absolutely love it too. It’s a wash between flat price of rusted metal and the barnwood cabinet for my favorite price. I love old maps like that and the different themed rooms is a great idea. If we had a much bigger facility it would be fun.

My dad was/is a Toyota and Lexus Master Tech. Also, there’s just as much in maintaince as repairs a lot of times. We’ve talked about expanding but with my sister and I still in college the captital is not quite there yet. We do work on other cars though. There was a Alfa today which is not normal, but we have probably 60 percent Toyota Motor Co and the rest not. Customers bring all their cars to us because they like us.

Based on your waiting room and your website, I can see why. It’s very professional while also being very welcoming. Do you have any pics of the service bays? I’m imagining a very neat, clean, orderly work area. Spotless painted floors, and everything in its place.

I’ve changed my stance on waiting rooms somewhat. In the sense that if you sit at a waiting room but there are like 7 people that can immediately assist you, you should be thinking “what am i waiting for?”
That waiting area in the photos looks cool though. Put a Playstation 4 in there and you should be good to go!

So part of the waiting room is to give the customer a sense of professionalism. Also, we do have customers that will sir and wait for their cars to be fixed.(we call those waiters lol)
