I have to sit through a boring 50 minute lecture and then I am hitting the road to head home for vacation. 1.5 hours of droning on the highway (3500+ rpm the whole way) followed by 2.5 hours of some pretty decent back roads to get home. Like the homeward trip better than the drive to school because it puts the boring stuff at the begining of the trip and the fun stuff at the end.

Tomorrow I’m flying to St. Martin for my honeymoon so today I’m making sure things at work are stitched up tidily for my coworkers to handle while I’m out, then packing and going to bed early to catch my flight in the morning.

I find myself wanting a 6th gear but then I glance at the readout from my throttle controller and realize I am using 60+% throttle just to maintain speed on any kind of incline. 115 HP and 110ft-lbs really let you down at higher speeds. It’s odd because it pulls great in 4th but is a total dog in 5th.

Finishing off some 3D models of a front bumper replacement to send off for simulated pull testing, then after work a five hour drive to Sturgis (yes, that Sturgis) through what they predict will be 4" of snow for a weekend in the Black Hills with friends.

Working then heading to Toronto. About 3.5 hours at 3k rpm doing 75-80. I have an exhaust leak now, so its a de-muffled V6 out the back and straight piped 3 cylinder up front. Yay!
But hitting up a fashion show tomorrow and other stuff, will be fun.
