I love the 2.8 Audi Quattro. Its a car I’ve considered replacing the 944 with so that my whole family fits in my car. But I’m not so sure about a dented Acura A4 2.6

Looks like one of those cars I’d buy saying “The price is right and I could use the left over cash to fix all the cosmetic issues!” then never fix any of the cosmetic issues and simply add more cosmetic issues.

Well it’s not like any of that info was readily available, like on the deck lid or anything...

Causing new cosmetic issues via hooning seems like a good idea...

If they are selling it for $1995 then they bought it in trade for a used tire.

There was a CL or TL type S with the 3.2 with a manual recently for sale that gave me all sorts of fast, reliable jonesing.

Ughhh. I have this problem with my head where I’m like “I should have one good, reliable, modernish, daily driver.” And then I look at Ford focuses or mazda protege5. And then, I think to myself “well a focus/Mazda is a little bland maybe something just a little more interesting.” And then pretty soon, I’m looking at 20 year old audis or saabs thinking about how it’s better than having a 30 year old BMW.

I seem to recall sending you a link to a zx5. Is that what you picked up? Any chance you found something with the 2.3l and a manual? Holy grail of focuses I think.

Interesting, my wife is shopping replacements for her car/family hauler and the focus is on her radar. I think she likes the tech, the looks, and the size but I warned her about the transmission stuff I’ve read. Any feedback on the car? We are going to look/maybe drive tonight but not buying for another few weeks. there is also an Elantra gt that I hope she checks out but I’m trying to have as little influence on the process as possible.
