This got me excited. Only the second phaeton I have ever seen. Excuse the horrendous photo.

I’m fortunate. I get to see one every day in my garage. :-)

But that’s a nice find there. Luna Blue, which is a pretty uncommon color (most of them are black, silver, or gray). Also has the Kristal Gray interior by the looks of it, which is, again, not too common. You can also tell it’s a 2004 model from the grille/wheel combo.

I think I’m drooling . Seriously though if it weren’t for the maintenance costs I would buy one in a heartbeat. They are my all time favorite sedan (excepting only the Toyota Century, which is unobtanium in this country). What’s it like to own one? A dream?

I’ve written a little bit about it before. I’ve had mine for eight years now and still absolutely love it. Maintenance isn’t as scary as some would have you believe. The past two years, mine hasn’t needed anything beyond the occasional oil change. As with any car, if you take care of it, it will take care of you.
