Also, wouldn’t the smaller inlet allow the turbo so spool up faster? Yea it would fall on its face pretty fast as it meets the max amount it can force through that hole, but from a dig it would spool up faster.

you loose a tiny bit of spool up for a relatively huge gain in power.

You’re saying for the cheat? I was talking about the unmodified restrictor. Kinda like what F1 did back in the day with a second throttle body before the turbo, except it would never open up wider.

oh I see. Yeah, the restrictor probably doesn’t hurt the turbo spool characteristics at all, but it does limit total CFM, which is the goal.
