I did it! Three years and 12k miles after purchase, I took my 2000 528i to 250k miles! Going into it, I decided that was all I wanted out of the car. It could explode on the side of the freeway the mile after for all I cared but I wanted to at least be able to say I took it to 250. This car has more than delivered with no sign of stopping!
I was planning to do an Oppo Review™ to coincide with this milestone but I think at this point it’d be impossible to write it unbiasedly.

nice!! The E36 my friends and I whipped all throughout college was taken off the road right after this milestone, so much nostalgia for that nineties amber cluster. Those 2.8s run forever if the cooling system survives

Present pace is like 12k, which includes commute, a few backroadtrips, and an occasional longer trip to Austin/St. Louis/other. I put a few thousand miles on my old Pathfinder per year as well. Our primary family & trip vehicle is my wife’s MDX, and she/we average 25k per year on hers.

That’s not that bad. I’d consider DDing mine if that was all I was looking at. It’s 33.4 miles one way from my apartment to work, which works out to like 17k just going to work. With other things, it’ll probably be closer to 22k. So that’ why I wanted a second car. Hoping a 328i will eat up the miles like I think it will. It’s going to get the maintenance so it should be fine.

Rural interstate, so not really. I’ll probably take the M3 on occasion anyways.
