All smartphones can zoom and crop. Why do we have to do it?
Seems more efficient to put the effort in once instead (checks views) 36 times so far.

View image is a feature of your browser. Kinja DOES upload high res pics AS high res, but they don’t get displayed as such, even if you click on them to enlarge them. “View Image” ONLY shows the image, no other part of the webpage, so you get the image in high res.

Maybe he didn’t have time. Not a big deal, takes literally, like, 3 seconds to view it in higher res the way that I mentioned.
If anything, Kinja should just display the image in it’s natural resolution when you enlarge it by clicking on it rather than requiring what I suggested, so I don’t blame posters at all.
