Sometimes, even a jetway gets a new pair of slicks.

Those look like the wrong tires for the conditions. They should really switch to inters.

I didn’t know that Trelleborg makes plane tires. I haven’t seen much from them besides spiked rally tires for winter. These are for racing purposes only but they are temporarily street legal during rallies under special permit.

I don’t see valve stems or suspension on the pictures in the original post. Those tires may be solid rubber. I suspect that’s a piece of jetway equipment, rather than an aircraft.

It’s the wheels on the jetway

Man look at the weather, they are never going to get any heat in those slicks.

You’re probably right. That shape wouldn’t make much sense if if would an air tire.

I also said it was a jetway in the topic.

I don’t remember where it was but I think it was somewhere in California.

Which was one thing that I didn’t read properly. I just saw jet. After the first reply, I begun staring at the electric motor and thinking, that something’s off here and this thing doesn’t fly.

But I didn’t know that Trelleborg makes tires for jetways either.

Now that I did some googling, it seems that Trelleborg actually makes tires suitable for aircraft use.
