It’s for the best. One of my friends had a 1996 1.2 Corsa B as his first car, it had 46hp and no heated rear screen. My 1988 Polo steilheck was better built, had more power and more luxuries (some useful luxuries you don’t find anymore, like an in dash coin holder).
The Corsa B is just miserable.

I had a a few Corsa B’s, they weren’t that bad when compared to other cars at the time. I never had to suffer the 1.2 but I had a 1.5td, a couple of 1.4 8v’s and a 1.4 16v.
Full disclosure my dad worked for Vauxhall and I leased them for next to money which included full maintenance, tyres (I even took them to the dealers if a bulb went!) and insurance and they gave me a new one every 12k miles.

i drove a 1.0 3cyl around Ireland in 2000
it was awful, half the trip had a CEL on.
