Not a bad looking undercarriage for an 80s Japanese car. I am the third owner of this car, and I think it sat a long time, which is why replacing the seals was needed, and why there is so little rust. But who knows? After all, it lived in Sacramento, where there would be no rust anyway.

While I was out, I saw a much newer and nicer Vespa (300cc - nice). When I bought mine I passed on one of these that cost more than twice as much as mine.

Do you like the fancy fast Vespa, or my ratty little wasp with half the displacement?

I like his windscreen, but I like the chrome stalk mirrors that I have more than his handgrip clamp ons. I don’t really need 300cc. If I wanted to go that big, I should just buy a proper motorcycle. See how my mind works? This is why my wife tries to keep me off craigslist.

Hopefully that vespa doesn’t have a perpendicular intersection with a truck.
