I rarely get stuck in rush hour, but every time I do I’m torn between surprise at how many people just run into each other on the highway and surprise that more idiots don’t.

That’s why when it comes to traffic, I take the most fuel efficient route possible. If I’m going to be fucked, I’m going to at least do my best to be fuel efficient.
And I always stick to the freeways...and dedicate myself to one lane.

Took me about 20 minutes to do just under a mile. In my mind that’s not bad, but it’s usually a two-minute drive.
I likely could have driven this morning but the 18" drifts in my largely sheltered back yard were telling me bad things about the shape of the highways. And the freezing rain we got before it snowed doesn’t help anyone.
