The rain is gone from San Diego and the sun is back, which means I can finally take the roadsters out to play and get some pictures for the reviews I have mostly typed up. I saw a few of my doctors today and I’ve completely healed from my nephrectomy - and I can back to working out / doing things. Also getting pulled off my injected chemotherapy and just staying on the daily pills. It looks like the spots they are watching for cancer growth aren’t showing any changes, which is a great sign.
We found a roommate to move out with when we’re done house sitting, and have a few places of interest to move to. My engagement ring finally showed up as well, which means as soon as I get her Dad’s permission, I can finally ask the girlfriend the big question. I also had two friends reach out with possible job leads today, so going to jump on sending out my resume on those.
Things are looking up and I’m feeling optimistic and in good spirits. I think I’ll take the Fiat out to Palomar Mountain for a drive and maybe grab some BBQ for lunch at the ranch at the bottom of the Mountain.

Another San Diego Oppo? San Diego is absolutely wonderful to live in. (Technically I’m in Encinitas, but still San Diego to most people)

Currently have no job, yep. Had to quit at the end of September to pick another fight with cancer that is hopefully almost over. Kind of hard to work between surgeries and chemotherapy, not to mention the numerous doctors appointments.
I left work with 10 months worth of living expenses in savings, so not the end of the world and I’m still doing alright. Of course, we spent 1.5 months of those savings as a downpayment on the Fiat, but still doing ok.
Cancer, no job, whatever else life throws at me - not going to stop me from living how I want, I’ll find a way to make it work. Have to enjoy life while you can.

Ceramic! Arctic was too bathtub/plain white for us, and Crystal White Pearl is only on the GT (which if we had bought the GT, we would have gotten Blue Reflex). I love the color shift of Ceramic though, and am always intrigued to see how it comes out in pictures when I randomly grab a snap of it.

I think white is one of the more underrated colors on the ND. When I looked at it in person it made the car stand out a lot. I dunno, it sort of worked perfectly for me and I am a red car guy.
