Kinja'd!!!

Well, it’s gone now. I wonder how much this incident cost the builders, and whether or not insurance would cover it.

It’s not gone. It’s just been turned invisible. The odd shape we saw was required to effectively induce the cloaking field. Geometry, physics, and shit...

Or it turned into the pile of scrap wood in the backyard.

Your explanation does not give a sufficient reason for the geometrical inconsistencies we saw. Mine does. I win.

I’m an engineer. All this checks out. Geometry and radar and light and stuff... maybe trapezoids.

Yup. With Toronto’s housing market, that guess about price probably isn’t far off.

I wish Vancouver got more wind, so some of the garbage they throw together in 4 days would also fall over

Yeah, but then people might get crushed to death, which is a problem.

Come across the Detroit River and enter the land of Bald Eagles and crazy stupid cheap housing.

I’ve lived in Michigan for 13 years now, I’ve had a grand total of seventy-four zero stabbing incidents.

That’s the joke that it’s always some obscenely high budget for their jobs. Above scenario was made up.

Though I did legitimately see a nurse and (I swear I’m not kidding this time) I street artist in New Orleans with 400k budget. Yeah I said street artist. Dude made paintings and then sold em on the street.

Girlfriend is moving from Parkdale to Detroit. Yea, you might get stabbed but you can also get a freaking mansion with a car lift for $735k.

Eh... I’ll just move out west. Even our most crime-ridden cities (the trend is that crime rates increase as you go west and north in Canada) are nowhere near as bad as the states. Plus, the most expensive neighbourhood in the city I’m looking at moving to has an average house price of $440k CAD.

Though at the same time our average home cost in my very nice suburb of Detroit, with amazingly low crime, is about 250k, got ours a hair under 200k.

Not specifically the brash and rude thing, just as a whole. Not a knock against you guys, just don’t think I’d mesh in. And the immigration process is probably a pain in the arse.

I’m curious how much damage was done to the brick house it landed on. If you look closely, the window openings are no longer square.
