That’s going to be some stiff competition for the Alfa 4C, even though I’ve seen very few of those out on the roads. I don’t know what the Cayman/Boxter sell for but I’d imagine this just doesn’t have the same badge recognition. Please, Please sell well. I need you to depreciate.

What is an insult is that car manufacturers have so little imagination nowadays that they prefer to “resurrect” a model and a legendary nameplate instead of trying to imagine something new that simply looks good and performs as it should.
Just the same way mainstream cinema cannot stop rehashing good films and turning them into utterly forgettable remakes.
Damn marketing people.

Yeah good luck trying to sell a new sports car with an unkown name made by Renault. People in France are crazy about Alpine, French sportscar buyers will buy this because of the name only.

They want to resurrect the brand Alpine? Fine for me, if the car is right. But there is no need to design a retro car that somehow looks like the old A110. They could have done something new, but obviously have not.
Incidentally - it may take a little longer to take off, but if the product is

good it will sell by itself. No matter what the name.
